Knowledge Exchange

QMU has a long tradition of contributing to Knowledge Exchange , and we have been engaging in a wide range of activities through translational research, commercialisation of research and teaching, technology transfer, licensing, delivery of professional and continuing education courses, public engagement, performances and exhibitions, public lectures, and expertise-sharing through professional bodies and media.

Increasingly we are focused upon demand-driven collaborative activity, addressing the needs of the key industry sectors identified within the Scottish Government’s Economic Strategy. Within QMU this has resulted in specialist expertise for industry in Food and Drink; Sustainable Business ; and the Creative Industries.

Our teaching and research in public relations practice has led to pioneering work in public communication and stakeholder engagement led by the QMU Centre for Dialogue.

In recognition of our pioneering work with the Food and Drink industry and in partnership with our on campus SME, AMT, were have received awards for Sustained Industry Partnership and Innovation of the Year.

We work with a wide range of client organisations, particularly SMEs and engage in a variety of knowledge exchange activities.  Find out more about:
