Section 7 - Professional Doctorates
Professional Doctorates are equivalent to PhDs in terms of the volume and level of work that has to be done to complete them. A Professional Doctorate aims to advance professional practice through a range of work related knowledge and competencies, of which research is only one aspect. It is assessed by various pieces of work, including a research project.
QMU offers two Professional Doctorates:
- Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology
- Professional Doctorate in Health and Social Sciences
