Ethics & Governance

Queen Margaret University is committed to stringent principles of scientific, ethical, financial and personal integrity. The University's Code of Research Practice provides researchers with all the information they need to manage their research. For further information on research governance please contact Kim Gilchrist.
In addition to the Code of Research Practice, QMU has well-established regulations, procedures and guidelines for research ethics. The Research Ethics Committee is responsible for scrutiny of internal applications for ethical approval for all research projects, including those of research students and staff. The Committee monitors ethical standards in research and advises on the related ethical principles, regulations and procedures.
