HPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer working in the Breast Care Service.

Holds a PG Cert in Mammography. |

Demonstrate competence in Basic Life Support and CPR. |

Employed in a clinical environment offering stereotactic wire localisation experience at a level appropriate for postgraduate studies. |

Negotiate a contract with the manager of the clinical department to ensure that the required amount of time and patient load to complete the work-based element of the programme will be made available.

Show evidence of continuing professional development. |

Each candidate will be considered individually with regard to her/his ability to meet the demands of the programme. Ultimately it will be the responsibility of the Clinical Departments to determine suitability.

The overall aim of the module is to provide the student with the appropriate knowledge and skills to develop a high level of expertise in stereotactic localisation procedures of the breast
