Ultrasound Localisation Procedures for Intrauterine Brachytherapy Insertions
The overall aim of the module is to provide the student with the appropriate knowledge and skills to develop a high level of expertise in ultrasound localisation procedures for intrauterine brachytherapy insertions.
The theoretical component of the module will be self-supported through independent academic study. During this study the student will have access to the entire range of Queen Margaret University electronic library facilities as well as guidance to access those provided by the respective UK Health Departments. Students will be encouraged to consider the implications of the skills they are learning in relation to current research, medico legal, ethical and governance issues.
