BSc Radiography

Entry Requirements :

 

                           Diploma in Diagnostic or Therapeutic Radiography

 

                           Minimum of 1 years clinical experience
                             Eligible for State Registration
                         

Duration :
BSc: minimum of 16 months, maximum of three years. For individual modules, see the CPD option.

Start Date :
September of each year

Location/Attendance :
This degree course is delivered entirely by distance learning, so no attendance at the University is required. You must be able to access the internet.

Fee Waiver :

If you are in receipt of any form of state benefit (including Working Tax credits) and are studying part-time at undergraduate level then you may be eligible for a Fee Waiver

Course Details :
This course is for diplomate diagnostic or therapeutic radiographers who are looking to further develop their diploma qualification by distance learning and offers a flexible range of learning options.

You can study individual modules from home for your continuing professional development or you can choose to study all three modules which will lead to the conversion of your diploma to a degree.

Course modules:
- Introduction to research methods (20 weeks - September - March in Year One)
- Appraising the evidence (12 weeks - April -June in Year One)
- Evidence based practice (12 weeks - September - December in Year Two-

Structure :
DEGREE OPTION:

The degree option is normally completed in a minimum of 16 months but can also be taken over a maximum of three years.

CPD OPTION:
This option means that you can choose to study an individual module or modules on a more flexible basis. You should contact the Admissions Tutor for more information.

Special :
Applications from outside the UK will be considered with clear evidence of a professional qualification equivalent to a UK Diploma in the relevant profession.

Careers :
The content of modules studied on these courses will address the skills required for current clinical practice. The courses will advance your understanding and implementation of clinical
governance and research in the workplace.
