Welcome to Radiography at Queen Margaret University

Radiography students at QMU have access to facilities within the clinical departments of Lothian and surrounding health trusts, thus reinforcing the collaborative ventures between Queen Margaret University and Health Care Providers.

Radiography staff have strong links with employers, are active in clinical research and play a significant role in the development of the professions of diagnostic and therapeutic radiography.

We provide the following specialist facilities for students:

Fuji Computed Radiography (CR) system
High resolution digital workstations
Darkroom / viewing room
Ultrasound equipment

Clinical room with training radiotherapy treatment simulator
Computerised 3D treatment planning workstations
Mould making facilities
