Quality at Queen Margaret University

Information on Quality at QMU
Quality at QMU is maintained by a number of key processes, including the following:
- Validation and internal subject review
- Annual Monitoring
- External Examiner feedback
- Module evaluation and student surveys
- Student representation on committees
A brief summary of the above is available as an introduction to quality at QMU (MS Word) It is expected that this will primarily be useful for current QMU staff, but students and other stakeholders may also be interested.
Reports on the effectiveness of all quality assurance and enhancement related processes are scrutinised by the Student Experience Committee (SEC) on behalf of the University Senate. SEC can make recommendations for future action on the basis of this scrutiny, and this allows for input from a wide cross section of academic and support staff as well as student representatives.
