Quality at Queen Margaret University

Governance and Regulations
The Governance and Regulations is the University's definitive set of regulations and procedures. There are a number of sections of relevance to collaborative partners:
Quality assurance of collaborative programmes (MSWord)
This extract from QMU's QA handbook
provides full guidance on the procedures for development, validation
and quality assurance of collaborative programmes.
Policy on academic collaboration (MSWord)
The University's policy on academic collaboration is designed
to focus on and facilitate the development of relevant academic
partnerships within the UK and internationally. It should be read
in conjunction with the Academic Collaborations section of the Governance
and Regulations (see above).
Credit Rating (MSWord)
Credit rating is a process whereby the University judges an external programme against the SCQF to determine equivalence of level and volume of credit. The credit rating process is designed to assist transfer between programmes and facilitate entry to higher education.
Programme development, monitoring and review (MSWord)
University regulations and procedures for approval of new programmes and periodic review.
Assessment regulations 2010-11 (MSWord)
Generic regulations for assessment.
