Many of the University's quality procedures require completion of a form. Use of forms helps ensure consistency with regulations, completeness of information and accurate record keeping. External Examiner related forms: for help completing any of the forms listed below, please contact ExternalExamining@qmu.ac.uk
External Examiner nomination form (MSWord)
The External Examiner nomination form should be submitted to the relevant School Academic Board no later than eight months prior to the start of the academic year in which the appointment is to take place.
External Examiner extension to tenure/reallocation
of duties form (MSWord)
The extension to tenure/reallocation of duties
form should be submitted to the relevant School Academic Board
no later than eight months prior to the expiration of the current
contract or eight months before reallocation of duties is to take place.
External Examiner report form (MSWord)
Report form for completion by External Examiners.
A separate form should be completed for each Programme for which an Examiner
is responsible. Reports are submitted annually to ExternalExamining@qmu.ac.uk no later than 30 September.
External Examiner response report
form (MSWord)
This form may be used by Programme Leaders responding to External
Examiner reports. Alternative formats are also acceptable.
Expenses claim form (MSExcel)
Expenses claim for External Examiners - note that all expenses must be claimed within three months.
