This site was launched in 2005 to provide a central, accessible and up to date reference point for all regulations, policies and procedures that govern the quality of the academic experience at QMU. It includes relevant internal and external links, as well as key information on quality at QMU, for example: survey results; summaries of External Examiner feedback; and annual analysis of validation and review activity.
The site is intended as a resource for a wide range of stakeholders, including all QMU staff and students, collaborative partners and External Examiners. It supersedes all previous paper versions of regulations, policies and procedures. Therefore, users are requested to discard any out of date hard copy manuals, handbooks or other resources, as these may no longer contain correct information.
The site is maintained by staff of the Quality Enhancement Unit and updated regularly to reflect any changes to regulations, policies and procedures. Where changes are implemented, these are also communicated separately to colleagues, external partners and students, as appropriate, for example by email.
The structure of the website is set out to the left of this page. It is important to us that the website is useful and user friendly and that you are able to find the information you need with minimum effort. We are confident that this will be possible with the help of the A-Z index in particular. However, if you experience any difficulty with navigation, please let us know, and we will be able to point you in the right direction.
Queries about the site should be directed to Dawn Martin, Assistant Registrar, Quality Enhancement: dmartin1@qmu.ac.uk If you would like to provide feedback on your experience of using the site, please follow the 'feedback' link on the left hand side of this page.
Thank you for using QMU's Quality website
