Foundation & English Studies for International Students

Around 12% of our students are international, coming
from over 50 countries throughout the world. Our International Study Centre
and Recruitment & International Liaison Office offer a friendly, responsive
support service for our growing international student population.
The ISC has a wide range of courses to prepare you for further university-level study - whatever subjects you're interested in and whichever institution you wish to attend - or simply to help you improve your English in an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere. Programmes include short summer courses, undergraduate and postgraduate foundation programmes and a joint bachelor's degree in EFL.+

English Language
The International Study Centre has provided high quality English language courses since 1991. All our teaching staff are well qualified and have extensive experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language in universities throughout the world; some have worked abroad on consultancies for the British Council; some are also teacher trainers and IELTS examiners. The staff maintains a lively research profile, taking an active interest in current developments in EFL... so you will be in good hands!
