- 24 November IMPORTANT – Safety Message
Please be aware that the hand sanitiser gels which the University has issued as personal dispensers and wall dispensers throughout the campus have a flammable constituent. Please ensure that gel is properly rubbed into hands until dry. Prior to using naked flames, including lighting cigarettes etc, it is essential that you thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water, to remove any residual gel. We are supplying this information after a recent accident hit the ehadlines involving hand sanitiser gel which resulted in a significant burn injury.
