I am a Fellow of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences and a research accredited Sport and Exercise Physiologist. I am currently elected Vice-chairman of the European Association for Rehabilitation in Chronic Kidney Disease (www.renalrehab.com).

My research primarily focuses on (i) the role of physical activity/exercise interventions as an adjunct therapeutic for the management of chronic disease states (e.g renal disease, catabolic conditions, multiple sclerosis) and (ii) the utility of early years interventions for the promotion of physical activity, motor fitness and school readiness in pre-school children.
