  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, King’s College London
  • PhD, School of Health Sciences, Queen Margaret University

My PhD investigated the construct validity of the use signal detection theory measures to investigate nociception and pain perception. This led me to develop an interest in psychophysics applied to health-related issues. Currently, I’m busy with projects involving 1) evaluating factors influencing the effectiveness of exercise programmes in cancer patients, 2) elucidating the credibility of sham acupuncture techniques
