Title: The relationship between spot tenderness and motor endplate region in two muscles.

Topic: The aim of this study is to verify under controlled conditions if there is a relationship, between the anatomical location of any myofascial trigger points (TrP) and the innervations zone (IZ) in the upper fibres of the Trapezius. Healthy participants and those with neck pain participate in this investigation. The IZ is a limited and defined area within the muscle belly and if a TrP, which can be considered a discrete painful spot within muscle caused by an endplate dysfunction, we would expect to find it in a topographical relation within the endplates zone.
