Michele has worked in a variety of health settings in England since qualifying in 1990. She also worked as a Clinical Specialist OT and had responsibility for quality and governance issues across the occupational therapy service as well as working in the admission wards at an acute mental health hospital. After 15 years in mental health services, Michele moved into a case manager role, looking at the management of people with complex physical health conditions with the aim of preventing unnecessary admission to hospital. Michele’s most recent clinical role involved management of an integrated multi professional rehabilitation team and managing a local wheelchair service in the West Midlands. Michele joined the team at Queen Margaret University in September 2010.
