If you are a public relations practitioner aiming to develop your strategic internal communications and management skills this professionally accredited course is for you. You take an in depth look at the role that internal communications plays in organisations and, in particular, those going through change. You develop your ability to use research to inform effective internal communication strategies and develop successful plans.

CIPR Internal Communications Diploma students study over a six month period, receiving 20 hours of face to face teaching scheduled over five days in 3 blocks between January and March. Ongoing contact is maintained via the internet and students have full access to University learning resources on and off campus - the latter through secure remote access software.

Teaching includes input from those with extensive internal communications experience, practical exercises and group discussion involving students from a cross-section of public relations programmes. Students are also supported by internet access to the complete range of University learning resources even when off campus, through continuing contact with the teaching team and project supervision.
