QMU Sports Centre Open Day

Queen Margaret University’s Sports Centre will be holding an open day for the local community on Saturday 5 th and Sunday 6 th June.

With excellent gym facilities and an impressive large scale sports hall, Queen Margaret University Sports Centre offers one of the best value for money sports club memberships for people in Edinburgh and East Lothian.

The Sports Centre has a well equipped modern gym with equipment supplied by Life Fitness, dance studio, sports hall and Astroturf pitch. Members can choose from a selection of exercise classes including Spin, Pilates, Boxercise, Pump Fx and many more. Personally tailored training programmes can also be offered by expert sports staff at no extra cost. The facilities are available for members to use between 8am and 10pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-8pm on Fridays and 10-4pm at weekends.

Public membership joining fee is only £20 with the membership costing £20.50 each month. QMU’s Sports Centre is offering 50% off the joining fee for any member of the public who signs up over the promotional weekend in June.

Stuart Burnside, Sport Centre Leisure Attendant, said: “This is a great opportunity for people to view the sports facilities at the Musselburgh campus. By offering value for money memberships we aim to encourage more people from the local community to make the most of our modern sports facilities.”
