Press release
Postgraduate Open Evening at QMU
Queen Margaret University is to hold a postgraduate open evening for people who are thinking about changing career, enhancing their employability or just looking for a challenge.
The evening, which will be held on Wednesday 23 November, will provide the opportunity for visitors to speak to academic staff about the wide range of programmes. Admissions staff will also be available to discuss the application process, and a Student Funding Advisor will offer guidance on the all important funding options.
This event is ideal for those seeking a new direction, possibly due to redundancy, or for those people who just wish to up-skill and ensure that they remain attractive to employers in this increasingly competitive jobs market. The open evening will also give people an insight into how they can undertake continued professional development (CPD) while continuing to work full or part-time.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to see many of the modern facilities at the University by joining organised campus tours.
The informal event will take place at Queen Margaret University at Craighall, Musselburgh on Wednesday 23 November . Visitors are welcome to drop in anytimebetween 5.30pm – 7.30pm. To book a place online visit : http://www.qmu.ac.uk/events_open_days/default.cfm
