Postgraduate open evening 2015
Our next postgraduate open evening will take place on Wednesday, 25 November 2015.
At this event you will be able to:
- speak with our academic team about our courses;
- have a one-to-one discussion with our careers advisors about your employability options;
- find out about possible funding opportunities and the application process and
- enjoy a tour of our campus.
For those unable to attend the campus event we are offering a Virtual Open Day event on 25 November.

Most of our PG courses can be studied either full-time or part-time, some are available by distance learning and some are even taught in short blocks, which may mean that you only need to attend QMU for a few weeks through the entire course.

Travelling to our campus
The campus is designed to meet the highest standards of sustainability and we have a green travel policy in place which is supported by excellent transport links to QMU. Located right next to Musselburgh train station, it only takes six minutes to reach Edinburgh’s city centre by train and several Lothian Bus services come right onto the campus.
For those travelling to QMU by car, the A1 which runs right next to the campus. Please be aware that as there is a limited number of car parking spaces you may like to consider using an alternative means of travel.

Undergraduate open days 2015
Our undergraduate open days in 2015 have now taken place. The dates for 2016 have yet to be confirmed but it is likely that they will be in September and October. Please check back here for information in the Spring 2016. In the meantime, if you would like more course or admissions information, please contact Admissions.
At our Open Days you will have the opportunity to:
find out more about the courses that interest you and meet the lecturers who teach them;
attend subject talks and talks which are of general interest to all students such as Welcome to QMU, UCAS, Finance, Life as a Student and
go on a campus tour to see our excellent facilities and student accommodation.
Our Recruitment and International Liaison Office attend a large number of Higher Education Conventions across the UK and Ireland so you can find out more about us a little nearer to you. Higher Education Conventions are a great opportunity to find out more about the course you are interested in and student life at the University. Keep an eye on our site throughout 2014 as we confirm where we'll be and when.
