Undergraduate open days 2015

Our undergraduate open days in 2015 will take place on:

Thursday 3 September & Saturday 3 October, 11.00hrs -16:00hrs

At our Open Day you will have the opportunity to:

  • find out more about the courses that interest you and meet the lecturers who teach them;

  • attend subject talks and talks which are of general interest to all students such as Welcome to QMU, UCAS, Finance, Life as a Student and

  • go on a campus tour to see our excellent facilities and student accommodation.

To view details of our subject and general talks please go to Open Day Talks 2015. Please be aware that this may be subject to some slight change, however an up-to-date timetable will be supplied on the day.

If you have any course-related or application queries, you can email Admissions If you have any general queries about open days, please email Marketing.

To help us with our open day planning and to keep you up-to-date with any additional information or changes, please go to Register Your Interest. It is not compulsory to register with us and you are welcome to attend one of our days without doing so.   

Travelling to our campus

The campus is designed to meet the highest standards of sustainability and we have a green travel policy in place which is supported by excellent transport links to QMU. Located right next to Musselburgh train station, it only takes six minutes to reach Edinburgh’s city centre by train and several Lothian Bus services come right onto the campus.

For those travelling to QMU by car, the A1 which runs right next to the campus. Please be aware that as there is a limited number of car parking spaces you may like to consider using an alternative means of travel.

Postgraduate open evening

Our next postgraduate open evening will take place on Wednesday, 25 November 2015.

Full details for this event will be posted later in the year together with details of our Virtual Open Day event for those unable to attend the campus evening.

Careers conventions

Our Recruitment and International Liaison Office attend a large number of Higher Education Conventions across the UK and Ireland so you can find out more about us a little nearer to you. Higher Education Conventions are a great opportunity to find out more about the course you are interested in and student life at the University. Keep an eye on our site throughout 2014 as we confirm where we'll be and when.
