Fake Facebook: Freshers
URGENT: all current and new students should be aware that fraudulent facebook sites are posing as official QMU sites in order to promote activities during Freshers’ week. These sites are using QMU photos and logos and therefore look very realistic. We believe their aim is to promote nightclubs. Official QMU Students’ Union activities during Freshers’ week are designed to create responsible fun events with student safety as a priority. Please be aware that only one QMU Student Union facebook site will carry official information about QMU Freshers’ https://www.facebook.com/QueenMargaretUniversity#!/QMUSU. All official Freshers’ events will be listed on the QMU Student Union website www.qmusu.org.uk
Anything else posing as a QMU Freshers’ site is fake and should be treated with caution.
