Short Loans

Items which are in high demand, this may be items on reading lists, are placed on Short Loan by lecturers. This is to enable access for as many students as possible.
These books are held in the Short Loan Room and may be borrowed for 4 hours at a time during the day. Items in the Short Loan Room must be issued using the self-issue machine, before removal from the room.
Reservations
We now have a trial reservation system for Short Loans. Books can be reserved for fixed-time slots during the day and overnight from 6pm. Reservations are placed using the library catalogue. Please ask at the LRC service desk for more details
