Bristol Online Surveys (BOS)- on campus access only - is an easy-to-use service that allows you to develop, deploy, and analyse surveys via the Web. No complicated set-up or technical knowledge is required.
Arts & Humanities e-Science Support Centre - jointly funded by the AHRC, EPSRC and JISC. The Initiative aims to enable research practitioners to embed the advanced use of ICT in their research and teaching practices. It also facilitates collaboration across traditional subject and discipline boundaries.
Intute - provides free, effective access to high quality Internet resources selected and described by specialists throughout UK academia and beyond. It is organised around five 'hubs' comprising the major areas of enquiry and learning.
Intute Virtual Training Suite - free online training to help you make more of the Internet for learning, teaching or research. Tutorials guide you to the key sites in your subject area and provide training on how to improve your web searching.
QMU Measure your Research Impact - This tutorial comprises of 3 elements: bibliometrics, how to calculate your research impact and how to evaluate journal rankings.

Community of Science (COS) - individual researchers in all disciplines may join COS free of charge. COS is used to find funding, promote your own research, track current research activities, access experts and collaborate with peers from around the world.

Australasian Digital Thesis Program - free access to theses from several Australian Universities.
BioMed Central - a database produced by an independent publishing house committed to providing immediate free access to peer-reviewed biomedical research.
CERUK Current Educational Research in the UK - a database of current or ongoing research in education and related disciplines.

Economic and Social Data Service - ESDS provides access and support for an extensive range of key economic and social data, both quantitative and qualitative, spanning many disciplines and themes.
ESRC Society Today - ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council) Society Today brings together all ESRC-funded research, combining information from the ESRC Awards and Outputs Database (formerly Regard) and the "old" ESRC website, along with information from a variety of other UK and international sources - Social Science Information Gateway (SOSIG), the UK Data Archive, the Office of National Statistics (ONS), Europa, Social Science Research Network (SSRN).
