Information Skills - Workshop Times

Student Sessions

Workshops are scheduled at various times of the year. If you need help finding resources for your coursework, are struggling with searching databases or are not sure what an ejournal is then there will be a workshop to suit you.

Students can also arrange their own workshops for small groups. Contact the Liaison Librarian for your subject or email libraryworkshopbookings@qmu.ac.uk.

Academic Staff Sessions

Please contact your Liaison Librarian for more information. Examples of the types of session we have offered in the past are Resources for Tourism, Databases in the Health Sciences, Reference Manager and An introduction to Scopus. However, we can tailor sessions to almost any information skills topic either on a one-to-one basis or small group size or run sessions for subject areas.
