SCONUL Access Scheme
This scheme is a co-operative venture between higher education libraries. It enables part-time, distance, and placement students as well as staff and research students to borrow material from other libraries. If you wish to join another library under this scheme, first check that it is a member, then print off the web form on the SCONUL web page and return it to the QM Learning Resource Centre. You will be issued with a SCONUL Access card which you must take, along with a passport photograph and your Matriculation card to the library you wish to join.
An application form can be found on the SCONUL website. Please fill this in and return it to QM Library.
If you are not a distance-learner, placement or part-time student you can apply for a reference card; this will allow to use items in the library you are visiting but not borrow. This card must be used in conjunction with your matriculation card.
