Access Webmail

Connect to QMU's Outlook Web Access service.

To access your mailbox, type in your QMU email address (in the format and password when prompted.

Getting help and support with OWA

Requests for IT support for staff are handled by the Assist helpdesk. If you have a query, issue or problem you can contact Assist in a number of ways:

By telephone:

Dial 0131 474 0000 and ask for Assist or Assist Helpdesk. Phones are staffed during opening hours (0830 - 1730 Monday - Friday) .

By email:

Email Staff will respond to your email during opening hours.

SelfService: You can log requests for assistance via the Assist SelfService portal.
In person:

You can visit the Assist Helpdesk on level 1, leg 3 if you are on campus.

Face-to-face IT support for students is provided by staff in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC). You can find details of the LRC Service Desk opening hours on the Library Services website.

NB There is no helpdesk service at the weekend, although there is on-call cover for system emergencies.
