Information Services is a professional service which acts as the University's centre of excellence in all aspects of IT and technology. Our work supports all aspects of learning and teaching, as well as the management and governance of the University.
Our specific areas of responsibility include:
Provision and support of IT networks and infrastructure.
IT operations, including security.
Development and support of the QMU server and desktop environments.
Provision and support of teaching and virtual learning applications.
Software innovation, including business applications.
Development of the University's internet presence.
Technical development of the intranet.
Procurement of IT equipment, software and services for business use.
Provision of technical support for all University-owned IT equipment.
Advise on the effective use of standard QMU applications.
