Exchanges and Study Abroad
Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, offers a number of Exchange programmes that allow students of QMU to study for periods of between one and two semesters in a university in another country.
Exchanges offer the opportunity to travel and live in another country and learn different customs and traditions. You will also encounter different ways of learning, make new friends and learn new skills to add to your CV.
Likewise, where partnerships exist, the University offers the chance for students from partner Universities to study at QMU in Edinburgh.
There are two types of exchanges:
- Those arranged though the Erasmus programme of the European Union;
- Those arranged with non-European Universities
Within this section is guidance for QMU students wishing to go on exchange (outgoing) and for students from other institutions wishing to come to QMU to study (incoming).
The European Union has awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014 - 2020 to Queen Margaret University. The Charter can be viewed here.
