Biographical statement

Thidaporn is a senior government official, responsible for the Ministry of Public Health Thailand: Department of Disease Control. She takes responsibility for the government with many positions including programme manager of HIV/AIDS treatment and care: Adherence to the HIV/AIDS treatment, community care. She is also chief of HIV/AIDS pharmaceutical unit, Tuberculosis Pharmaceutical Unit, pharmaceutical and care and the supply unit of the Global Fund. She is also a researcher working for Department of Disease Control for academic area.

For the community involvement, she is a secretary of the Pharmaceutical at a national level namely ‘Pharmacist Initiative for People Living with HIV/AIDS in Thailand’ which is cooperating closely with the Hospital Pharmacy Society in order to train the pharmacists in all hospitals to gain their knowledge of HIV/AIDS and treatment and link as network continually in every year.

She is currently working on research of human resource for health and implications on HIV/AIDS treatment to strengthen Thai health systems as a PhD student at IIHD.
