Biographical statement

Constance has worked in various capacities in the last 6 years in Zimbabwe and Uganda. She has also done a lot of work over the years with the African YWCAs with young women on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, Violence against Women and HIV. She has experience coordinating various trainings on HIV and AIDS.

Since 2008, she has worked with the University of Maryland Baltimore, Institute of Human Virology, Uganda Program as Outcomes and Evaluation Advisor/Continuous Quality Improvement Advisor for the AIDSRelief program which delivers HIV treatment and care across Uganda.

Constance is also a world board member of the World YWCA and has been actively involved in the social movements for over a decade. She is also currently on the Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance International Strategy Working Group on HIV and AIDS.

Currently for her PhD study she is looking at HRH strategies to improve retention of health workers in Uganda’s hospitals.
