PG Programme and Structure: Human Resources for Health
This is a modular programme of study (ie existing out of a range of modules) with the taught Postgraduate Certificate component extending over one 15-week semester and the taught Postgraduate Diploma component extending over two 15-week semesters.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources for Health consists of 4 core modules in semester 1. Each single module carries 15 SCOTCAT credit points at Masters level. Successful completion of the 4 core modules will accumulate the necessary 60 credit points to enable participants to qualify for the award of Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources for Health.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources for Health consists of 7 core modules plus a choice of 1 elective module related to HRH. Each single module carries 15 SCOTCAT credit points at Masters level. Successful completion of the 8 modules will accumulate the necessary 120 credit points to enable participants to qualify for the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources for Health.
The MSc in Human Resources for Health Health is awarded subsequent to completion of a dissertation equivalent to 4 modules (60 credits). To progress to this award, successful completion of the seven Postgraduate Diploma modules must also have been achieved.
