A collaboration between Jewel & Esk College and Queen Margaret University, Feast 2012 will combine the expertise of top chefs with the enthusiasm and skill of our hospitality and events students.
Promising to delight the most sophisticated gourmet as well as offering top tips and food focused fun for the newest food enthusiast; you won’t want to miss out!
The Regional Dishes
FEAST 2012 is a celebration of regional Scottish food.
What better way to celebrate than to sample a wide range of regional dishes. Under the watchful eye of the Jewel & Esk College chefs, QMU and JEC students will be working together to create a delicious range of over 20 imaginative dishes. You’ll be able to sample these wonderful dishes in The Club during the food festival.

Selkirk Bannock bread and butter pudding

Grimbister cheese deep fried with red currant jelly and bannocks (s)
Braised leg of Orkney lamb with clapshot and served on a trencher

Arbroath Smokie omelette
Clootie dumplings with Glenrothes whisky cream

Mutton & vegetable broth
Smoked salmon, rollmop herring and prawns with black tattie salad

Haggis, neeps and tatties
