Q. When was the Committee established?
The Committee was established in October 2003 and is chaired by
Dr Christine Bovis-Cnossen, Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Media and Communication.
Q.What do members of the Equal Opportunities Committee aim to
do?
By meeting on a regular basis, members consider all matters relating
to the development, implementation and evaluation of the Equal Opportunities
and Diversity Policy and aim to identify the affective and most
appropriate way to implement the Equal Opportunities and Diversity
within the University .
Q. Who does the Equal Opportunities Committee report to?
The Committee reports to the Strategic Management Group.
Q. How can I have an input into the Committee?
Members of staff and students are encouraged to feed issues into
the Committee through any of the Committee members or alternatively
through HR or the Strategic Planning
and Research Support Unit
