ePortfolio and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) uses the same ePortfolio system, PebblePad, as we use at QMU. It is possible for physiotherapy graduates to move the content of their ePortfolio to the CSP system, which is available to all subscribing CSP members. The CPS system has CPD resources, such as proformas and self audits, which will assist with recording, evaluating and reviewing learning from CPD activities, enabling demonstration of compliance with CSP guidelines. QMU's system and the CSP's system both support LEAP2A (the preferred format for file transfer as it supports all PebblePad asset types).

Moving ePortfolio content from QMU to CSP system
It is possible to move your complete ePortfolio to the CSP's PebblePad system, or if you prefer assets can be imported individually.
- Log in to the CSP’s ePortfolio system
- Select the tools menu > manage assets
- In the window that opens, scroll down until you reach Import / Export Assets
- Select Import Assets
A new Import window will open and you will see 4 tabs which allow you to import assets from a range of sources:
- From a URL – directly from another installation of PebblePad (e.g. type in Queen Margaret University into the location box)
- From a Zip – from a zip file exported from another installation of PebblePad or a LEAP2A compliant system
- From a Feed – from another site such as blogger or twitter
- From an External Account – from another account on the same installation of PebblePad
Please see PebblePad's online help guide for full details of how to Import Assets: http://www.pebblepad.co.uk/help/2.5.2/Import.htm
It is also possible to export assets from QMU's PebblePad system and to save exported files to your hard drive, a memory stick, or CD. Please see PebblePad's online help guide for full details of how to Export Assets: http://www.pebblepad.co.uk/help/2.5.2/Export.htm
File size limit in CSP
The CSP ePortfolio size limit is 250Mb. If your QMU ePortfolio exceeds this file size then it may not be possible to import the full amount of the content to the CSP system. It would be advisable to review your ePortfolio prior to exporting to see exactly what you require to keep, and to export selected assets rather than the whole package. The CSP suggests saving large files (e.g. movies) on a web sharing site such as flickr. Information about file space is available on the first page of the PebblePad system.
