MOVING ACTORS THROUGH LABAN! - Kedzie Penfield and Judith Steel have begun a collaborative
teaching/research project supported by the Palatine Development
Fund that deals with the application of Laban Movement Analysis
(LMA) in teaching movement for actors. The collaborators are
looking at both the process and the outcome of integrating
aspects of LMA that support and serve the actors' training.
The work in this area will be in the context of training first
and second year students in the acting programme at the School
of Drama and Creative Industries at Queen Margaret University
.
