Vaibs Nigram Vaibs, from India, is a 3rd year International Hospitality Management student at Queen Margaret University. Vaibs is really enjoying living in Edinburgh and can’t mention enough how friendly the people are. As an individual, Vaibs says that he likes helping people and thought that the hospitality industry was the correct career path for him. He says that the course at QMU is helping him build his future and that he definitely have a better understanding of the industry that his current colleagues at Edinburgh’s Apex Hotel (where he currently works part-time), because he is doing this course. Vaibs is living in the halls of residence on campus and was particularly impressed: “it’s like living in a hotel” he proclaims. He likes how you pay a flat fee for the year and you don’t need to worry about paying separately for electricity, internet access etc. “Scotland is awesome, I do not have home sickness and I’ve really no bad comments to make” he says enthusiastically.
