Elisabeth Bo Elisabeth, who is from Norway, is currently doing a one year MSc Physiotherapy (Post-Registration) at Queen Margaret University. She is already registered to work as a physiotherapist, but decided to further her studies to broaden her knowledge and it would only take one year to complete. She chose QMU as the course sounded interesting and was very relevant to her field. Elisabeth says that the lecturers on the course make her and her classmates feel more like colleagues than students as they have already been working as physiotherapists. On the whole, Elisabeth says that the course does involve a lot of work, but she expected it and it will ultimately help her as she can see how it fits into her clinical work. Elisabeth lives in the halls of residence on campus. There are many other international students living in the halls too. The campus is good as it also has a students’ union and sports facilities. When he visited her, Elisabeth’s father said that he’d like to be a student again what with the excellent facilities at QMU. Whilst sitting on the beach in Musselburgh where QMU is located, Elisabeth talks about East Lothian and Scotland. She says it’s easy to go hiking, to the coast, to the highlands and the city of Edinburgh. She says that Scottish people are very nice.
