NHS Lothian CPD Modules (CPD)

THE CPD MODULES IN COLLABORATION WITH NHS LOTHIAN OFFERS A RANGE OF CLINICAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MODULES THAT CAN CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS COMPLETING A QM BSC IN PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE.

40 Credit Points at Level 9:
Acute Minor Illness, incorporating telephone triage
Minor Injuries Programme, including an introduction to telephone triage

30 Credit Points at Level 9:
Lothian Management of Diabetes Programme
Positive Approaches to Behavioural Changes in Learning Disability

20 Credit Points at Level 9:
Epilepsy Management
Management of COPD and Spirometry
Management of Acute Coronary Syndromes
Management of Specific Cardiac Conditions
Management of Long-term Cardiac Conditions
Initial Preparation for Practice Nursing

10 Credit Points at Level 9:
An Introduction to Asthma Management
Community Development and Health
Dementia Awareness
Heart Manual Facilitators Course
Heart Manual Trainers Courses
Cancer Prevention: Health Promotion
Care and Management of People with Cancer
