Recipe for Life - Intergenerational Kitchen - Food for Thought Snack Book
The idea for the Intergenerational Kitchen came from the Practice Development Phase of the Recipe for Life Project carried out by The Centre for the Older Person's Agenda, Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, 2003 - 2006.
This research and practice development identified that many older people eat bland and unexciting diets and need to reconnect to food. To assist with this, the project developed an Intergenerational Community Kitchen, a partnership with a local high school and older people which produced a snack book entitled Food for Thought (PDF 3.94MB)
