Postgraduate Funding
SAAS
From session 2012-2013 all eligible Scottish domiciled and EU postgraduate students can apply to the Students Award Agency Scotland for a repayable Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loan to help with the cost of their fees.
Students can apply for a loan of up to £3,400 for full-time study and up to £1,700 for part-time study. Part-time students must be undertaking at least 50% of a full-time course, and must therefore, complete their qualification in no more than two years. Repayment commences after students graduate and are in employment, earning above the student loan repayment threshold (£15,795 from April 2012).

Social Development and Health The application form is available to download from the SAAS website from April 2012. The closing date for the year 2012/13 is 31 March 2013. To be eligible to apply, you will also need a UK National Insurance number. You can phone the National Insurance Office on 0845 600 0643 for help with this.
