Postgraduate Certificate Award Requirements

The award is achieved by successful completion of the equivalent of 4 Master level modules (60 credits at SCQF 11). All participants, regardless of route, must complete the core modules 'Education in Action 1 & 2' and  'Curriculum Development'. One elective module is available.

Successful completion of the Postgraduate Certificate satisfies the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) regulations for registration as teachers. Successful completion of Education in Action 1 confers eligibility for Associate Fellowship status with the HE Academy. Successful completion of Education in Action 1 & 2 confers eligibility for full Fellowship status with the HE Academy.
