Personal Profile:
I am interested in the creation of knowledge through the emancipatory and interpretive research paradigms in exploring geopolitical, social, economy and cultural context under which tourism exist, giving the emancipation to the marginalised, peripheral and silent voices in tourism.
The methodology is applied to the discourse of the peace and tourism, sport and adventure tourism, diaspora, tour guiding and contested heritage, the phenomenon and meaning of the peripheral tourism regions, cultural tourism, “dark tourism”.
