New for 2011 - Santander Universities Entrepreneurial Awards Scheme
Santander Universities have introduced a new Entrepreneurial Awards Scheme. This is open to all current undergraduate and postgraduate students whose universities are members of the Santander Universities programme. The aim of the scheme is to support students with strong entrepreneurial propositions by providing them with the means to develop their ideas further.

Students are asked to submit a business proposal detailing their idea.
Entries should be for proposals which will be carried out in the UK. QMU will nominate one postgraduate and one undergraduate business proposal from entries. These two nominations will then be submitted to Santander where a panel of judges will select winners from all the participating universities.
If you would like to enter you should submit your business proposal by 5pm on Friday 6 May to Hilary Glendinning, Quality Enhancement Unit .The proposal should follow the recommended format. The QMU panel will select the two nominations by Friday 20 May. All QMU entries will then be notified if they have been chosen as QMU’s entry. A shortlist of 5 finalists from participating universities will be invited to a gala dinner in London on Tuesday 5 July where the winners will be announced.
