Contract Periods
The student accommodation is leased on a 40 or 50 week basis starting from Friday 7th September, including Christmas and Easter.
We can also offer rooms for 1 semester for those students whose courses run for this duration.
Short stay contracts are available for courses shorter than 1 semester (minimum stay 4 weeks).
It may be possible to extend your contract to suit your circumstances, subject to availability.

The cost includes hot water, electricity, heating and high speed internet connections. All of the rooms on campus are self catering.
Basic contents insurance is provided through Endsleigh Insurance. QMU arrange and pay for this cover.
PREPAYMENT of £250.00: This payment should be made at the time of accepting your accommodation offer in order to confirm your place in halls. This money is credited to the student’s residence fee account and shall be deducted from residence fees due for the complete residence period. Please note this prepayment is not a security deposit and it will not be returned at the end of your tenancy.
Payment Methods

- Direct Debit: 8 instalments. Please complete and return your direct debit mandate once you have accepted your offer.
- 2 Equal Instalments: first payment on or prior to arrival and the second payment in the first week of January.

- Cash: in person at the Accommodation Services Reception or Finance Office
