Effective Learning Service

The Effective Learning Service at QMU provides guidance and support for all students wishing to develop their study and learning skills.

Where are we?

The ELS is based in room 1153 in the Learning Resource Centre, and is open to students from 9.00 to 16.30 Monday to Friday.

What do we offer?

• Individual appointments
• Drop-ins
• Study skills workshops
• Language support for international students
• Study guides and leaflets

We also offer:

• a Resit Support Programme in the summer
• a Pre-sessional Course for new international students
• a General English Language Skills Course for international students
